Local-first: everything stays on your device
Your checks stay stored locally, on your phone. No mandatory account to use Vroooz, no email, no password to create.
We just generate an anonymous, technical identifier to make the app work. No personal data is asked of you to check a claim.
Anonymous statistics, and nothing more
To know what works and improve the app, we measure usage in an anonymous and minimal way, via PostHog. For example: how many checks are launched, which sources people click on.
We don't try to find out who you are. The measurements are aggregated and anonymous.
No ads, so no advertising trackers following you everywhere.
We don't sell, rent or trade your data. Ever.
An anti-lobby tool can't live off surveillance. We run on you, not on your data.
The dietitian form, optional
If you choose to join the waiting list to be connected with a dietitian, we then ask for your first name and your phone number, solely to get back to you. Nothing else.
It's entirely optional: if you don't fill in this form, we ask you for nothing. And you can request the deletion of this information at any time.
Hosting in Europe
The app and its technical data are hosted in Europe, with Netlify and Supabase. Cookies are kept to the strict minimum needed to run: no advertising cookies.
Access, deletion, questions
You can ask us at any time to access the information we might have about you (for example if you joined the waiting list) or to delete it.
For any request, write to us at info@vroooz.com. We'll reply.
A frank word about this document
This page describes our real practices, in plain language, not copy-pasted legalese. It isn't legal advice.
A version refined with a lawyer may follow. In the meantime, we'd rather tell you things clearly than drown you in terms no one reads.
